Dr. Oth uses the latest technologies present in the world of implantology. One of these is the placement of one or more dental implant (s) using surgical guides printed in 3D.
The implant placement is simulated by computer prior to surgery. A surgical guide is then printed in 3D. This guide contains all the information on the positioning of implants in the jaw (guided implant surgery technique). It allows placing implants without having to make a major incision in the gum; a small incision of a few millimeters will be enough to place an implant (aka flapless technique, or surgery technique without flap). This reduces the operating time and reduces postoperative discomfort (swelling, pain, …). This technique will be strongly recommended if this is possible in your specific case.
